FOX CAVE
Old Billy The Kid Hideout
THE STORY OF FOX CAVE
Fox Cave is a watershed cave formed over thousands of years by the Ruidoso River. Originally known as "Ice Cave" in the late 1800s and early 1900s, it was the hideout for Outlaw Billy the Kid.
The Cave currently houses Native American Jewelry, gemstones, home décor, toys, and local history.
There is a Billy the Kid museum, celebrity museum, Dinosaur themed casita for nightly rentals, and the Fox Cave Animal Park.
